The newsletter
When you subscribe we keep your email address and, if you subscribed from a specific page, what you asked for: the Odoo version you follow or the topic you want to be told about. We use them only to send Odoo Digest and the updates you asked for. We never sell or share the list.
Subscribing is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the link in the confirmation email. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
The list is managed by Brevo, a French company, which processes it on our behalf under the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Brevo records whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked; we only look at these numbers in aggregate, to see which parts of the digest are useful.
We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
The website
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and sends Google your IP address, browser and the pages you view.
Some preferences stay in your own browser and are never sent to us: the versions and apps in My stack, and the boxes you tick on upgrade checklists. Clearing your site data removes them.
Videos are embedded from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain and only load when you click play.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to its use, by writing to ask@odoodigest.com. We answer within a month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
